The $Unlimited Challenge is about to launch with the 2009 six month programme which culminates in 15-20 companies able to pitch to significant investors who have the significant funding required to start and expand businesses into export markets.

As part of the challenge a qualified group of participants will be invited to take part in the (six-month) programme of support and direction to become investment ready. With committed investment advisers and fund providers engaged in the initiative, the likelihood of securing funding is much higher than going it alone.

• The challenge is open to start-up, high-growth, and enterprise businesses

• Investment amounts could range from $100K to $5million, sourced from a mix of investors

• Funds will come from early stage investors and/or angel investors

• Challenge partners are: James & Wells; NZ Trade & Enterprise Escalator

Billy Mays is perhaps one of the greatest pitchmen in recent times turning regular household products into multi million dollar businesses almost overnight. Prior to his untimely death at age 50 in June this year Billy was featured in a series shown on the Discovery Channel called Pitchmen. Episodes of “Pitchmen” are now available to view on YouTube, and are well worth while watching for anybody who has a product or service they want to sell.
